What factors help contribute to the pursuit of biblical parenting educational training in the lives of individuals before they become parents? The short answer?
There are many factors that contribute, but our family background is one of the largest contributions.
Just as Proverbs 22:6 is true:
“Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old, he will not depart from it,”
the opposite would be true as well:
Do not train up a child, and they will depart from “it”.
What is It?
“It” equals habits of godliness, wisdom, truth, fear of the Lord, and sanctification that comes from the training received from godly parents which extends to the next generation.
Our mission to train up a child would be in jeopardy of the mandate that Solomon sets forth if we did not train up a parent in the way they should go.
